The mission of the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote the businesses and community of Mitchell and its surrounding area. We are committed to the advancement of economic and civic endeavors within the community.

Organizing the Concert in the Park, an annual song-fest of local talent, with races, cars, vendors, contests,ice cream, fireworks and socializing
Hosting of the Scotts Bluff County Fair Parade, parade float prizes are donated by the Chamber
Organizing the Christmas Lighting Ceremony and the accompanying community dinner and entertainment
Giving First Dollar awards to new businesses and publishing their information in the local newspaper, to introduce them to the community
Providing funding for community beautification, such as the new signage at the city entrances. The Beautification Committee of the Chamber has an on-going fund raiser, selling Burgers and Brats in the summertime to earn money for community beautification projects.
We assisted the High School Music Boosters with the purchase of a new grand piano
Making charitable donations to community events such as the Festival of Hope and the Youth Baseball and Softball program
